Holding a Doctorate in Administration, an MBA and a Master’s in Public Administration, Dr Mthembu combines academic depth with practical leadership experience. He has served in senior strategic and executive roles in local government, where he is known for his calm authority, strategic insight and ability to navigate complex institutional environments while delivering measurable impact.
As the founder of the Bhekisisa Foundation, he is passionate about empowering young people and communities to rise beyond circumstance through education, mentorship and leadership development.
